Hand-made Pillar Tealight Holders (India)

Brighten your holiday season with these festive hand-made pillar tea light holders.

These tea light holders are from Rajastan, India, and reflect the passion for color that desert environments can engender. They are made in a village cottage industry where the men craft the wooden base and the women apply the lacquer and add an assortment of exquisite tiny mirrors and tiny jewelry. The cottage industry that makes these pieces provides an important secondary income for the subsistence farming community in and around Jaipur, India.

The set of three pillars comes in holiday colors of burnt orange or classic gold.
