This song dynasty style Chinese ink and watercolor rendering boasts birds and flowers on a silk wall screen. The folding screen is actually four lacquered 36in. x 18in. wood frames joined and covered by rice paper and silk.
The front is hand painted and matted with a silk brocade border while the back is covered with light brown silk fabric. The piece comes with lacquered brass geometric wall hangers for easy wall mount and was handcrafted by artisans in Hunan province of mainland China.
The handcrafted nature of this product will produce minor differences in color and sizing. Subtle shade variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. Measurements are approximate.
